His Word

“Your Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.” (Psalm 119:105.

“Your Word have I hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You.” (Psalm 119:11

“…for You have magnified Your Word above all Your Name.” (Psalm 138:12b)

“For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12)

“The Word of the Lord endures forever. And this is the Word which by the gospel I preached unto you.” (1 Peter 1:25)

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (John 1:1)

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” (2 Timothy 3:16)

Reading and studying His Word is absolutely the most important activity of our day. It contains pure truth. His written and spoken Word changes us every time we read it and let the Lord have His way in us.

His Word for this first week in September: “I will praise You with my whole heart. I will worship You in spirit and in truth. Thank You for searching me deep in my heart and knowing me and helping me to walk in the right way. I give You thanks and all the glory, Lord, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I thank You, Lord, that You told me because I set my love on You, that You will deliver me and set me on high because I have known Your Name. You are marvelous, Lord, my Hope, my Joy, my Salvation!
